Last night, Chris was a presenter at the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards. Chris took the stage with Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot to present the Best Motion Picture Foreign Film. After the award show, Chris and his wife Elsa attended the HBO After Party. I want to give a big thank you to my friends AliKat, Claudia, Jess and Mouza for sharing the images with us.
Earlier this week director Taika Waititi sent another photo out from the set of Thor: Ragnarok on Twitter, teasing that there were just two days left of production. To celebrate production wrapping, the filmmaker gave fans a tour from the set through Facebook Live, which includes a few special guests, Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, and Tessa Thompson, although they are not in full costume.
The video is just over 13 minutes long, which starts with what looks like a peaceful lake environment, but as the director pans over, we see quite a bit of wreckage in this intergalactic junkyard set. We also see a number of actors wearing elaborate costumes, but who exactly they’re playing in Thor 3 is anyone’s guess, and it’s not clear how these characters and this set fit into the story. Take a look below:
Chris Hemsworth and Cate Blanchett have weighed into the debate on the refugee crisis, calling on governments to increase their foreign aid during a Facebook Live video from their Queensland movie set.
The pair, who are both filming the latest Thor movie on the Gold Coast, appeared live for 30 minutes on the UNHCR — UN Refugee Agency Facebook page last night, where they asked fans to sign the UNHCR’s #WithRefugees petition.
The petition, which has close to 1 million signatures worldwide, calls on governments to “act with solidarity and shared responsibility” to the refugee crisis and will be delivered to UN headquarters in New York ahead of the UN General Assembly high-level summit next Monday.
In the video, Hemsworth acts as the interviewer questioning Blanchett, the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, about the time she spent with families in refugee camps in Lebanon and Jordan. Take a look below:
Chris’ Thor co-star, Tom Hiddleston won the Best Actor prize at the UK TV Choice Awards which was held in London. Tom is currently filming Thor: Ragnarok in Australia so obviously couldn’t make the ceremony, but he still took some time out to accept the gong for his acclaimed role in The Night Manager.
But while Tom was filming his acceptance speech, his camera time was hijacked by his co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba. Take a look at the hilarious hijinks below:
Foxtel’s creative platform ‘Make It Yours’ continues in July with new activity across media that includes a starring role by movie superstar Chris Hemsworth as you’ve never seen him before. Star Trek would like to remind fans before he was Thor, Chris Hemsworth was Captain Kirk’s dad. Chris makes a brief appearance in the latest television spot for the upcoming “Star Trek” film, Star Trek Beyond. There is no indication Chris will actually appear in the film — most likely not — but take a look at the trailer below:
Have you ever wondered whether Chris Hemsworth could actually be as incredible as he seems? Well, the Ghostbusters cast is here to confirm it for you. During the group’s appearance on The Graham Norton Show, they couldn’t stop gushing about their handsome costar.
Melissa McCarthy told a hilarious story about the time he started singing, and when Kate McKinnon suggested that he probably doesn’t even have boogers, Leslie Jones chimed in to say that if he does, they “probably taste like cornflakes.” Watch the women’s incredible Chris Hemsworth commentary below.

Posted on Author RachelComments Off on Chris and Tom Hiddleston Discuss “Captain America: Civil War”
Following Thor’s decision to leave Earth at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have been split right down the middle, and The Avengers have been disassembled. Meanwhile in Asgard, Loki sits on the throne as Odin in disguise, so nothing is currently as it seems! However, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston had plenty to say about the events of Captain America: Civil War during an appearance at Wizard World Philadephia over this past weekend.
Asked how they believe Thor would react to finding out The Avengers went to war with each other, Hemsworth said: “I’d be like, ‘Sort it out, idiots. This is silly.’ I don’t know. I’m not sure how that story’s going to go when Thor comes back. But I think it will come as quite a shock that they all aren’t getting along—having a bit of a tiff.” Hiddleston then interjected by going full on Loki and adding, “When I came down to Earth, I brought you guys together. Now I’ve left and you’re fighting each other. Sorry. So sorry.” When Hemsworth suggested that, “Loki’s going to come back and lead them all,” the crowd ate it up as you can see below. That would be quite something to see play out, eh?
Given Loki’s history with Thanos, there’s a very good chance the God of Mischief will end up factoring into Avengers: Infinity War in some way, and him going out a hero would actually work really well (just look at Siege). We’ll just have to wait and see, but Thor: Ragnarok will no doubt drop some more hints about how both of these characters will factor into that movie when it’s released next year.
Sony Pictures has released another official trailer for the upcoming comedy, Ghostbusters. The second trailer features more Chris as “Kevin” the receptionist. Directed by Paul Feig, Ghostbusters is scheduled to hit theatres on July 15, 2016. The film also stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Take a look at the trailer below and head over to the gallery for the latest additions.
