The official website for The Cabin in the Woods has been launched and can be viewed here. There isn’t any information or photos yet, but you can register for updates.
I’ve just updated the gallery with the following new photos of Chris on Series 5 of both Dancing with the Stars and Dancing with the Deals. Thanks again to Ida for some of the photos. 🙂
Dancing with the Deals (2006)
Welcome to version 2 of the site. I was in the mood for something a little lighter and more summery and thought this new theme would be perfect. I hope you guys will like it as well and find the updates a little easier to navigate now. Let me know if you run into any issues or broken links or anything. 🙂
THR: You cast a relative unknown as the lead in “Thor.” Will that be the Marvel casting strategy?
Feige: I think the Marvel way is casting the best actor for the part. It can be somebody relatively new, but it can also be someone like Robert Downey Jr., who you wouldn’t necessarily call an unknown. Chris Hemsworth came by the (“Iron Man 2”) set a few weeks ago. There was nobody around, but it was the historic meeting of Thor and Tony Stark. Within a few minutes, the crew was whispering, “There’s Thor.” Some of them had worked on “Star Trek,” so they knew who he was, but you could feel the buzz. He was wearing a T-shirt, but he was an imposing presence on the set.

According to various online resources, the release date for A Perfect Getaway has been moved up to August 7th.
The gallery has been updated with the following new screencaps. A big thank you to Ida and Trish again for all their help. 🙂
I also set up a Twitter account for the site if you’d like to follow the site’s updates. We are at twitter.com/chemsworthnet and please feel free and help spread the word.
I’ve updated the gallery with tons of new photos over the past week or so, but haven’t had a chance to do a proper update until now. Below is a list and links of all of the new additions.
A huge “thank you” goes out to Trish for helping with the screencaps and to Ida for sending me tons of photos and some great links as well. They’re total dolls and I can’t thank either of them enough for all of their help. Look for many more of their contributions to be added very soon. 🙂
If anyone else has any photos, scans, videos, fan art, etc. that you’d like to contribute to the site, please email it to email@example.com and I’ll add it to the site with proper credit.

The Aussie made a warp-speed impression with his fleeting role in ” Star Trek,” but now come the big roles with “Red Dawn” and “Thor.”
In the pages of Marvel Comics there are plenty of magical weapons but the most famous is an ancient stone hammer with this inscription: “Whosoever holds this hammer, should he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.”
Considering the fact (and the fiction) that Thor is the Norse god of thunder, that’s a lot of pressure on anyone who dares to reach for the mystical mallet. No one knows that better than Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, the just-announced title star of the upcoming “Thor,” which will be the fourth movie from upstart Marvel Studios. Hemsworth will be just the third leading man for Marvel, following Robert Downey Jr. ( “Iron Man” and its sequel next summer) and Edward Norton ( “The Incredible Hulk”).
